The CSE400 professional electric crepe maker is very compact, can be built-in into a worktop and easily transported thanks to its small footprint. Equipped with an enamelled cast iron plate substantially reduces the seasoning phase. This long seasoning phase is essential by the purchase of a raw cast iron plate. Indeed, cast iron is a porous material. It must be greased successively at high temperature: the surface of the cast iron then gets a patina and it becomes smooth as a layer of varnish. This long and tedious seasoning avoids the oxidation of the cast iron and facilitates the baking of fine dough like pancake.

The Incoloy heating element is integrated into the cast-iron plate and maintained by 2 counter plates. This spiral heating element guarantees a constant and precise cooking regulated by thermostat.
